MAKING THE FRONT PMD SEATS
Once my seat mold is finished, I mold up a few resin replica's for the model. Once I have my two seats molded, I sand them smooth, fill any pin holes and paint a close tan color. I then apply the flocking material to give them the same upholstered look as the rest of the interior. I then silicone them in place.

WORKING ON THE DASHBOARD
Once I fill any pinholes or flawed areas on the model dash, I begin to sand it smooth. Bondo fills any low spots to give me a nice straight dashpad.. Once sanded smooth, I give it a wetsanding and then a few coats of black primer.

I first install the tv monitor and paint the dash. I then move onto creating the lighting for the displays. I use 12 volt led's so no circuit boards are required. I use multi-colored LEDs to light the panels according to the colors they were on the show. This gives the effect that the dash is functional when it is lit up.

Adding the front KITT Nose and Hood
At this point, We go back to the body. The rear has been modified for the new look and the new plate location is added. We now go to the new nose and hood. For ease of assembly, I molded the new nose and hood as one piece. The lower fog lamp area and scanner slots are cut out prior to fiber-glassing to the car. Once glassed on, the hood/nose and fenders are blended together with bondo and sanded smooth. Then a coat of primer is added.

Assembling and Weathering the Chassis
The under chassis is now assembled per camaro instruction sheets. I build it pretty much straight from the directions with the exception of leaving the top of the motor incomplete. (No fuel system or parts added) This gives me the extra space I need to glass the nose and hood on. The hood does not open so they are not needed. Once built up, the chassis is completely weathered to my liking. I gave it a good, semi rustic, look. It ad's some realism to the car...
